Does anyone have a good, easy gluten free sourdough bread recipe? I have my starter that I purchased from Yemoos, and I have been feeding it, but I really don't have a good recipe. One for a bread machine would be awesome. Thanks!

that's a toughy ... most sourdough isn't done in a bread machine that I know of. You could try adapting this recipe to be gluten free:

It's not really authentic though with the yeast added to it too.

I think yemoos has a few gluten free bread recipes on their guide but I don't recall one with a bread machine/

I purchased the gluten free starter from memos and followed the directions on the card for the basic sourdough recipe that only uses starter, brown rice flour and water. My starter had been rising well, but when I mixed the ingredients for the bread recipe, it was really crumbly, so I added more water. It never rose the first time that I let it sit for 30 minutes and it has remained just a lump.

So now I have wasted a fortune in brown rice flour! Im very frustrated, to say the least.

Baking bread is totally trial and error. Took me awhile to get the feel of how a dough should feel (not too thick and dry, not too wet). If there's not enough tension it just can't rise - too much water will make the bonds too weak. And then of course you're dealing with gluten free bread which is notoriously weak and crumbly anyways. :/ Plan on it taking awhile to get a loaf you like. I mean even professional gluten free loaves aren't amazing honestly. How about looking for a gf sourdough focaccia recipe?

Greetings all..
many thanks and appreciation for the excellent sourdough starter kit we recently purchased. The directions on the the recipe cards and website were very easy to follow. Happy to report the results exeeded our expectations. The Sourdough is wonderful and identicle in taste/texture to San Francisco Sourdough only better! (and without conservatives or preservatives)

As an American living/working in Germany, there is no shortage here of some of the worlds best breads. BUT...I have always missed SF Sourdough and so happy now to be able to produce it right here at home :)

Highly Recommended!

One small critic point....the pictures on the website showing the various stages of the dough preparation are a little blurry not so clear 4.
