Milk to Coconut to Milk

Postby boilerroom » Sun Nov 08, 2015 3:01 pm

MAde coconut kefir, is some goooood. When I went back to whole milk, everything seemed to slow down, and got sluggish. I rinsed grains before adding to coconut, then again before going back into whole milk. Anyone think this is normal,, or did I murder the little buggers?

Anytime you rinse the grains, it will significantly slow it down by itself. A batch in coconut milk will probably slow it down a bit as well. So it's probably just fine and they should come back up to speed after a few batches.
