Use of stored water kefir?

I have been storing kefir grains in there fermented liquid for a couple weeks and would like to start making more. Can I use/drink the stored water kefir or should I discard it and start over? If its ok to still consume/use can I use it for a second ferment?

It's probably okay, but also probably quite fermented / sour with the grains sitting in it for that long. If it still smells and tastes pleasant, I would say you could definitely drink it. You can also mix in some sugar if you need to.
