Hi there! If someone can please help me since I am new to water kefir. I was given water kefir (and milk kefir grains) as a gift on my birthday in September. I made the first batch from the packet. And it was successful. And then made another batch. Unfortunately I made those first two batches in our vacation condo. I had it in the refrigerator. But then I forgot to take it home with me. And then it stayed there for circumstances I couldn't control until this morning. I made a fresh new batch, but then I noticed all of the grains were floating. One of my friends said she read somewhere that when water kefir stayed dormant that long and if the grains floats then it's dead. Can someone help me please if it's worth resuscitating these water kefir grains? I'm really sad
