I am wondering if a recipe indicates 'kefir starter culture' if it is ok to use water kefir? I am not sure of the difference between the two. thanks lm
good question. I always hate it when it's not specified. But I've come to realize its usually talking about milk kefir. I have seen whey sodas (just google kefir whey soda) if that's what you're after. If you want water kefir rootbeer then just google that specifically.
