I am trying to find out some practices or habits to avoid when using or mixing milk keifir with other foodstuffs. Is mixing kefir with honey a no no?? Won't the honey's anti bacterial properties kill off the good microbes in kefir? I would never microwave kefir obviously but what about pouring kefir over hot oatmeal?? How high of a temp. is OK?
